Our Leadership Team

Executive Chairman

Andile Ngcaba

Andile Ngcaba is the Executive Chairman for inq. with a focus on providing top-level leadership to the inq. group executives. He is also the controlling shareholder and non-executive Chairman of Convergence Partners.

He has participated on ICT decision-making forums and has influenced the formation of various African forums and organisations responsible for shaping the ICT sector at National, Continental and Global levels through his activities on various bodies including the ITU, ICANN and the African Union.

In his international organisational activities, Andile served on the Board and High-level Panel (serving as the business sector chair) responsible for the outcomes of the Netmundial multi-stakeholder conference on Internet governance, hosted by the Brazilian government in April 2014. He also serves on the council of The National Advisory Council on Innovation (NACI). The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University appointed him as an Adjunct Professor of the University, affiliated to the faculty of science.

Group Chief Executive Officer

Nick Reed

As the Group Chief Executive Officer of inq., Nick is responsible for accelerating the transformation and growth of the inq. business throughout Africa.

Nick has 38 years experience as a Chartered Accountant. Having spent 5 years in the auditing profession and 23 years in Mergers & Acquisitions at local and international banks.

Nick headed up strategy for Barclays in Africa. He spent 6 years as the Managing Director for the Developing Markets division of Internet Solutions which comprised 4 enterprise ISP businesses in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Mozambique. The business trebled in revenue terms over the period and comprised almost 600 people.

Group Chief Technology Officer

Pramod Venkatesh

As the Group Chief Technology Officer of inq. Pramod is responsible for outlining inq.’s technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with our business needs in all our regions.

Pramod has over 10 years experience in the field of Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, DevOps and Software Defined Networks. His experience spans pre-sales, product management, architecture, marketing and operations in the field of DevOps, Cloud and Software Defined Networking Technologies. He previously worked as a CTO for Criterion Networks, a SDN startup based out of Silicon Valley and prior to that was working as Lead for SDN in Reliance Jio .

Pramod specializes in building innovative, disruptive solutions and products and taking them to market.

Pramod has a Masters degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute.

Group Chief Operations Officer

Duncan Pie

As the Group Chief Operating Officer of inq. Duncan is responsible for the operational oversight of the group's digital transformation strategy, end-end business process optimization to enable data-driven business operations and to define the Go-To-Market, sales and marketing strategy that will be implemented in all the inq. Businesses.

Duncan Pie is an experienced professional with over 24 years in Financial Services, IT and Telecoms covering Strategy, Product Development, Sales, People Management and Executive Management. Companies he has worked for include Microsoft, Botswana Telecoms and Dimension Data.

Duncan has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Botswana, a MDP from the University of Stellenbosch business school and attended an Executive Development Program from GIBS

Duncan is married and has two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys running, camping and photography.

Group Chief People Officer

Nanda Scott

As the Group Chief People Officer of inq. Nanda is responsible for all group strategic and operational human capital functions including group human capital strategy, oversight of the human capital functions in the corporate office and in each region.

Nanda has over 20 years of experience as a human capital and business executive in Africa and globally. In this time she has developed experience managing multi-country teams across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Nanda has held multiple leadership positions in firms spanning multiple industries from Tech, Investment Holdco’s, Media, Telcos, Construction and Property & Legal.

Nanda has a Masters in HR and Development specialising in Culture / Change Management and Diversity / Equality from the University of Westminster.

Group Chief Financial Officer

Rayan Peters

As the Group Chief Financial Officer, Rayan will lead the group's financial strategy and reporting, ensure financial compliance, and oversee the financial functions of the entire Group.

Rayan brings a wealth of experience and expertise in Finance and Leadership, having held executive positions in the Telco distribution space and served on various Boards of Directors.

Rayan has an Honours degree in BCom Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Business Administration at Henley Business School Africa.
